It is past time for leaders of our Nation to come together and solve the tough problems we can no longer ignore.

The Federal Government needs to take the position that if a foreign government engages in a cyber-attack on a U.S. business or a U.S. entity, that they will then make the business whole.

I think we have a big problem right now because if a foreign adversary, a government fired a rocket and blew up a building, we would make the business that owned the building whole and then we would go to war.

We could easily say if you create this, there is a civil penalty that is available, and that if you do this, there is a criminal penalty, just like states have done with revenge porn.

The update to the Violence Against Women Act that Chairwoman Mace just mentioned gives a civil cause of action for $150,000.

I am going to try to simplify this for the American people. My colleagues across the aisle allege that this inquiry is improper and that this hearing is improper, but that could not be further from the truth.

Your regulatory approach is an insult to the intelligence of Americans and their ability to make risk-based decisions when investing.

I am not saying across the board.

So, the English law system has loser pays.

It is a very complicated issue, and I would argue that the Federal Government has lost the ability to enforce the law because it has refused to enforce the law for so long.

We are not enforcing the criminal code.

I think giving them inpatient rehab and helping to get them clean and giving them resources helps them.

I would argue that we might need to have a more balanced approach to holding people accountable that are perpetuating drugs and profiting off of drug-addicted individuals, and also help people that do, in fact, need help.

I actually have drill in August.

Some describe this as a two-tier system of justice, but what it really is, it is a system deliberately and systematically prosecuting individuals within the Trump orbit.

The DOJ, the FBI, the IRS have transformed from a balanced apparatus of justice into the political weapon of the left.

We are here today because our institutions are broken.

We have a problem. We have a problem.

We have structural deficiencies. We have problems.

We have $32 trillion of debt. We are on an unsustainable path, and it is a national security threat to this country.

As everyone is aware, we just had a long debt ceiling fight, and the outcome was determined by 11 percent of the budget.

The trustees recommend that lawmakers address the projected trust fund shortfalls in a timely way.
