I am so pleased to hear about the successes in Florida and Utah in particular and glad that the Federal Government has allowed States the level of flexibility they have.

So often you hear about technology putting workers out of work. You are using technology to put people back to work.

We both work for the same people. All we are asking for is what President Obama promised, and that is transparency.

President Obama promised the American people the most transparent Administration in modern history. But experience has proved exactly the opposite.

Political disagreement? We don't even know what we are disagreeing about because you won't even tell us your position.

The problem is this demographic wave that we face, correct?

We are not achieving full long-range solvency, absolutely.

And for many people who are currently already retired or certainly approaching retirement, it will have a dramatic effect on their retirement income, correct?

And those reserves will be gone in what year?

You hold the public's trust, and you are eroding that trust.

I think that is absolutely justifiable. I think the American people's faith in the government has been eroded.

I think the Fourth Amendment says that you can't seize people's money without probable cause.

It is malicious. It is wrongdoing. It is criminal. Our government is acting as the criminal here.

With the cascade of scandals that have arisen in the Federal Government and the level of incompetence and outright wrongdoing over the last 5 years, I am not surprised that Mr. Taylor has lost some faith in the government.

That is where we can make a difference, in those homes, in those children's lives.

We all agree on early education and intervention, breaking the cycle.

If we want to solve this problem, we have to get our economy growing again.

America used to be called the Land of Opportunity, you know, where everybody had the opportunity to get a job.

The only permanent solution to this is a job. That is it.

I always believe there is a place where we can find agreement. It doesn't matter if you are a Democrat or a Republican.

I told him, well, I am going to make it my job when I get in Congress to put you out of business.

Now who here on this panel can look at me with a straight face and tell me that that is the best way we can use our limited resources?

You can educate people from now until doomsday. You can get everybody a Ph.D. But if, when they get out of school, there is no job for them, you haven't really accomplished much.

I will continue to work on this issue until we are able to pass these savings on to South Carolinians, Georgians, Floridians, and Alabamans.
