Nikki Haley is an American politician and diplomat who served as the United States Ambassador to the United Nations from January 2017 to December 2018. She was the first female governor of South Carolina, holding office from January 2011 to January 2017. As governor, Haley focused on economic development, education reform, and job creation, and she gained national attention for her leadership during the aftermath of the Charleston church shooting in 2015, where she called for the removal of the Confederate flag from the statehouse grounds.
I think there should be consequences that we say, but if we are going to do that, we need to follow through on them and make sure they happen.
We need to make sure that the countries that are contributing troops hold those troops accountable.
I will be accountable, first and foremost, to the people of the United States.
My goal for the United Nations will be to create an international body that better serves the interests of the American people.

This is a slap in the face to every country that told North Korea they were not to proceed.
