Nikki Haley is an American politician and diplomat who served as the United States Ambassador to the United Nations from January 2017 to December 2018. She was the first female governor of South Carolina, holding office from January 2011 to January 2017. As governor, Haley focused on economic development, education reform, and job creation, and she gained national attention for her leadership during the aftermath of the Charleston church shooting in 2015, where she called for the removal of the Confederate flag from the statehouse grounds.
I think that is incredibly important. And that way when we are all speaking with one voice, the rest of the world knows this is serious to us.
I will always stand with Israel and make sure that they know we are an ally.
I do not think we should ever apologize for the American values, and I do not think we should ever shy away from talking about them.
I will never abstain when the United Nations takes any action that comes in direct conflict with the interests and values of the United States.
Congress does have that authority, and that is an authority that should be respected always.
