A member of my family never went to college, makes more money than I do.

Congress must look to find new and creative ways to solve fiscal challenges and improve services through government IT modernization, and I could not agree more.

We can do both and win. I did it overwhelmingly in November, when we won by 14 points, overwhelmingly in a swing district.

I think any presidential candidate... need to have a position, need to articulate that position.

The GAO study released just two days ago shows a large gap in safety and implemented lessons learned from fires aboard Navy ships.

It is clear to me not studying and learning from our past accidents and mistakes is costly to the Navy at a time when we cannot afford to be reckless.

I am concerned about the military housing options at MCAS Beaufort.

What more can the Marine Corps and Congress do to ensure those who have volunteered to serve our country have adequate housing for themselves and their families?

The Air Force's Unfunded Priority List (UPL) #1 is to accelerate the E-7 delivery. What capabilities does this aircraft give us in terms of a conflict with our pacing threat?

I fully believe we need to support the C-17 and their crews, and it appears funding is stable for the C-17 but is it enough?

We have to figure this out and we have to figure it out together because you have a Republican-controlled House, a Democrat-controlled Senate.

We can't dig our heels in. And although compromise may be a dirty word in Washington, that's what the American people want us to be doing.

I'm disappointed to hear the President won't sit down and talk to McCarthy about negotiating further on this deal. But both sides need to come together and work together. That's what the American people are asking us to do today.

We have heard about cybersecurity issues and fraudulent payments on Medicare, Medicaid, et cetera.

One of the greatest tax breaks for the wealthy was under the IRA, the Inflation Reduction Act, where there were $250 billion dollars of tax breaks for the wealthiest one percent.
