I am encouraged by El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras' willingness to work together to address the factors contributing to the child migration crisis.

It is just an open number of refugees that are able to come into this country? There is no cap?

The President is supposed to consult with Congress to establish the number and groups of refugees eligible for admission each fiscal year.

I had an experience with an Afghan interpreter, translator, served with 3rd Infantry, and it took 2 years to get someone that the Army vouched for.

I would love to see a breakdown of the State Department's budget and all the promises made and where that money is coming from.

So you are telling me nobody has been processed through this program to date?

Congress doesn't have the money to fund it. The tree isn't out in the backyard.

I think Congress has a strong responsibility to the taxpayers to make sure that their money is spent appropriately.

Congress should heed GAO's recommendation that no new funding be appropriated until DHS and GSA get their act together.

DHS simply can't afford to neglect its oversight responsibilities.

They expect you guys to transcend politics and focus on keeping us safe.

We have no idea who is in our country or what their intent is.
