I believe that as regulators that establishing standards that set children up for a lifetime of health is incredibly important.

Why did FNS issue a final rule that violates this law?

It is incumbent upon us to set standards that actually address that epidemic.

It is our responsibility that they are getting the nutrition they need during their most vulnerable years to set them up for a healthy and successful life.

I certainly appreciate how important it is that the calories our children consume pack as much nutritional punch as possible.

So there should be a specific mechanism?

So I think this hearing is crucial, because it is important to get things correct on how we balance the aftermath of 9/11.

Today's hearing provides an opportunity for Members of this committee to examine whether TSA's policies and screening processes allow for unlawful profiling and discuss the perspectives of community groups that have worked to improve…

The United States is a Nation of laws and as such we must be mindful of the reason for the creation of the TSA following the horrific attacks of September 11, 2001.

Can I request a check-in with this Committee in September, just so we have an understanding of where that stands?

Repeatedly making these same mistakes is frustrating to everyone involved and also damaging to the very people we intend to help.

At what point will the VA fix the systematic problems on how it buys, implements, and manages IT?

Yet time and again we sit here and discuss failure, and we are assured that lessons have been learned and that things would get fixed, and here we are one more time.

They have sacrificed so much and in exchange we promise to provide them with the best health care and services we possibly can.

I think we can handle this Medicare for All single-payer and save lives.

I want to see a situation where we do have health care.

Actually it is one of the greatest assumptions and stereotypes that older workers are not going to stay in a position very long because they are just waiting till they are able to retire.
