They tried to repeal the Service Contract Act, which provides for prevailing wages in Federal service contracts. They also tried to abolish the Department of Labor and they cut millions from job-training funding. They tried to ram through legislation that would allow corporations to raid worker pensions to the tune of $20 billion. In the 105th Congress, the attack continued within H.R. 1, The Comp Time Act and the ``Team Act.'' Later this week, the Republicans will be at it again.…”
