I don't see anything in the Mueller leaks and other information that's been out there that rises to this level at this point.
Rick Santorum
The Public Record
Rick Santorum is a former U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania, serving from 1995 to 2007. A member of the Republican Party, he was known for his conservative positions on social issues, including opposition to abortion and same-sex marriage. During his tenure, Santorum was involved in various legislative efforts, including those related to healthcare and education reform. He gained national prominence during his 2012 presidential campaign, where he focused on issues such as economic growth and family values.
It just -- again, the only thing that makes sense to me on the face of it was, well, maybe he forgot. But now he stepped in front of 'judge and said, nope, I lied and I intended to.
I just can't wait for the Mueller -- this Mueller report to come out so some of the pieces start to fit together.
If you take Michael Flynn at his word in front of the judge, that he knew he was lying and deliberately lied -- again, I don't understand why he would have, it doesn't make sense to me.
I think the judge had every right to be upset and to say -- well, I don't think it was treason, but I do believe it's a serious offense.
I think Bob Mueller has a political motive here and I do believe the Justice Department is very much targeted in --
the remedy here for -- with Donald Trump is if he's, quote, guilty of these campaign finance violations is to go after him through the impeachment process.
If FEC violations, campaign finance violations being the cause when almost every political campaign has some sort of, you know, illegality when it comes to the way they operate their campaign.
The bottom line is here, I think the greatest damage that's been done is Donald Trump doing what you just said, out there spinning different story after different story, not telling the truth.
The president is not going to sign that bill, and there's not enough to override the president's veto on this.
This is a quixotic venture on his part to show that, you know, he's standing up to the president because he's running -- he thinks he's running for president in 2020.
I don't think most Republicans and I talked to a lot of them, are concerned the president is going to do anything to stop the Mueller investigation because they know that would be a cataclysmic disaster for the president to do.
