There is no basis for circumventing the appropriations process with a declaration of national emergency on the southern border.

Illegal border crossings are at nearly 40-year lows. There is no documented terrorist or national-security emergency at the southern border.
I also want to reiterate the findings of 58 former national security officials who condemned the President's emergency declaration, and stated that any redirection of funds will, quote, 'undermine U.S. national security and foreign policy…
The President has already identified $8.1 billion in congressionally appropriated funds that he plans to take in order to build his ineffective wall which he promised Mexico would pay for.
I, too, echo my colleagues' sentiments about diversity being our strength. And it is not just a pretty sentiment.
If the consequences remain for the consumer, then they shouldn't have to pay for protecting their information.
When you took the initiative to track menstrual cycles, which your deposition reveals...
Isn't it true you instructed your staff to prevent minors seeking abortion from meeting with attorneys?

There is simply no excuse for it, and in the aftermath of the Shelby County decision the Leadership Conference, in conjunction with other civil rights groups, compiled a list of poll closures--thousands that happened in the aftermath of…
I am a little baffled, again, by my colleague on the other side of the aisle from Pennsylvania who found that to be a troubling decision.
