We have a long history in Pennsylvania of industry running roughshod over our communities to make a buck. That stops with me.

I’m here to say today that we will not be bullied by these developers. We will not be bulldozed by the lawyers for these big tech companies.

Starting today, (artificial intelligence) data center developers who want to do business in our commonwealth must respect our communities and abide by these stringent requirements.

In a time when you had the state police who look out for us every day in need, the health community, healthcare community, stepped up to help them.

Every time Donald Trump and his enablers have been forced to produce evidence to back up these ridiculous claims, they’ve failed,

This money’s going out immediately.

We’re going to keep making that request, and we’re certainly hopeful that they’ll respond, especially with the Senate Farm Bill still being in open discussion.

This is how government is supposed to work.

Railroads transformed our commonwealth into a powerhouse of the industrial age and my administration is focused on continuing that legacy while responding to our communities’ needs and helping them grow.

It's a far cry from last July when Shapiro gave himself a pat on the back as he touted Pennsylvania's AI readiness.

There’s real-life consequences to scaring people and not relying on actual doctors and actual medical professionals to provide unbiased information to parents so that we can make reasonable decisions uh for our kids.

I was very very blunt with him and I made very clear that his actions, and the the rhetoric that’s coming from this administration are having a negative impact on communities across America.

It’s vital for every parent to know that if you or your kids are unvaccinated, you are at an increased risk for contracting this highly-contagious virus.

I want every Pennsylvanian to know this: measles does not care about your county, your faith, or your social circle.

We will not let them bully my fellow Pennsylvanians. If these companies want to do business here they need to comply with the strictest guardrails in the nation on data center development.

My message to data center developers is clear: if you can’t agree to our strict requirements and get the community where you want to build to say ‘yes,’ you’re not going to have the Commonwealth’s support either.
