I feel that there needs to be an open dialog, but HHS has not provided us with that.

We, on this side, do not see that responsiveness.

The American people want, and the American people deserve answers from this Subcommittee and from executive agencies.

First and foremost, let's make it clear that Congress does, in fact, have the authority over and oversight of executive agencies.

It is the responsibility of this Select Subcommittee to investigate, to learn, and to further establish a path forward when agencies refuse to comply.
