just to fact check here what we heard, the previous speaker said that the national average for a gallon of gas is $3 a gallon. No, that is what it was 2 months ago. Today, as of literally just a few moments ago when I checked, the national average is $4.22 a gallon. Again, last month was the largest monthly increase in the price of gas since 1967.
