Brendan Boyle: “Today, Republicans are cheering the passage of their extreme budget resolution that betrays the middle class.”

Today, House Republicans passed yet another budget that puts the American people last.

Over the last 18 months, we have seen where Republicans’ priorities are: trillions of dollars in tax cuts for billionaires, tens of billions of dollars for war and absolutely nothing for the American people.

This bill truly was Robin Hood in reverse: it is robbing from the poor, taking away their healthcare (and) their food assistance in order to give money to the ultra and mega wealthy.

His new tariffs are a nationwide sales tax that will only serve to make life harder for Americans just trying to make ends meet.
