I am very grateful she is able to be with us today to share her family's story.

We have to figure out more and better ways, I think, to sustain the focus on the urgency, the primacy of getting more funding.

This is, I think, a mission worthy of a great country, and you have given us a good road map and a good to-do list.

I want to thank the members of the audience who are here and so many others who were here for a good part of this hearing today.

I appreciate that. Finally, I just wanted to thank you for highlighting the disproportionate impact this disease has on women.

I have no present reason to disturb this rule.

I would enforce the laws Congress has written fully and fairly.

If confirmed, I will examine this matter more closely.

I support efforts to reduce black lung disease.

I feel strongly we need to ensure undocumented workers are safe and receive fair treatment, especially in this time of heightened fear and uncertainty.

The Secretary must be an independent voice for workers who will push back on the President's agenda to hurt working families.

They lead quietly triumphant lives.

We hope we do not have to have future hearings on this topic, but I am afraid we may.

The heroic nature of what these individuals, these families are doing.

There has to be a way that the Federal Government can be a constructive partner.

I appreciate that, and it is important for us to know that number.

Tell me about that example and the reason you raise that example in your testimony.

We need to also normalize. We talk about grandfamilies living in isolation. Grandfamilies--and I am a grandmom--need to know they are not alone in this fight, in this crisis.

It is one that we both see back home, and I think that is true of every member of this Committee.

Despite promises from China in their WTO accession, China continues to exercise significant control over both their state-owned enterprises and factors of production.

It is time the Federal Government keeps its promise.
