I do not know how that is benefiting many people when you rip away healthcare to 23 million people, which is the CBO number based upon the House bill.

The Public Record
Can you guarantee, in terms of the administration's proposals, that millionaires and up will not receive a tax cut greater than that average American salary of $52,000 a year?
Will you commit to maintaining the protections that ensure that victims of domestic violence will not be discriminated against when purchasing health insurance.
Will you commit to ensure that Rowan and every other person in the country who has a disability... will they have that same coverage?
we would be bankrupt or my son would go without the therapies he sincerely needs.
Would you agree with me, first of all, that we should get that number down, the number of uninsured children?
I think if we are doing the right thing, not only as a government, but as a society, if we are really about the business of justice and if we are really about the business of growing the economy, we should invest a lot and spend a lot of time making sure that every child has health care.
A cut of a trillion dollars, a combined cut of a trillion dollars that would adversely impact the Children's Health Insurance Program and the Medicaid program, is totally unacceptable, I think, to most Americans, Democrat, Republican, or otherwise.
That means we are at a 95-percent insured rate across the country for children.
