I strongly support the President in requesting a defense budget above the artificial caps of the Budget Control Act.

It is important that the Government of Iraq today not go down that road again.

They probably get an outsized picture of our lack of will.

So the most important thing we can do going forward is to make sure that Iraq doesn't decline again into sectarianism.
