“Now that the Republican shutdown is over, Congress should be addressing the most pressing issues facing our Nation--faster economic growth, putting our people back to work at living-wage jobs, balancing the budget, and investing in our future. But so far, there is no Republican budget deal completed to set the frame for all of this, to give confidence to businesses that they can invest, and to assure the American people that there is some certainty that Congress has done its job.
