The Clerk read as follows: Mrs. Beatty moves to recommit the bill H.R. 4263 to the Committee on Financial Services with instructions to report the same back to the House forthwith with the following amendment: Page 3, line 10, strike ``$75,000,000'' and insert ``$50,000,000''. Page 3, line 23, insert the following new section: SEC. 3. EFFECT OF INCREASE IN OFFERING LIMIT. The amendments made by this Act shall take effect on the date that the Securities and Exchange Commission revises regulations promulgated pursuant to subparagraphs (B) through (G) of paragraph (2) of subsection (b) of section 3 of the Securities Act of 1933 (15 U.S.C. 77c) as necessary to protect investors before increasing the aggregate offering amount described in subparagraph (A) of such paragraph to an amount that is greater than $50,000,000.
