We are looking at 4 consecutive months now, including the previous month, at over 5 percent.

This uncertain regulatory environment does choke innovation and pushes projects overseas.

Without a clear standard across the board, student-athletes will continue to face a convoluted and confusing set of policies.

I think it is high time that we in America treat them as student-athletes, not just athletes first and students a distant second.

Until the beginning of this month, student-athletes across the Nation were restricted from capitalizing on their NIL because of an NCAA policy.

So Congress has the opportunity to deliver this, the clarity that we need, by passing a Federal NIL law that will create one uniform standard, protect the recruiting process, and preserve the college athletic systems that Americans love.

It was a huge win for student-athletes everywhere, when the NCAA finally overturned this inequitable policy.

It's impossible, almost, to imagine us getting through this if we hadn't innovated in testing therapeutics, and of course, the vaccine development.

In our geopolitical competition with China, Russia, and Iran, we have to stay advanced and ahead of the game.

I think is critically important, in the face of looming shutdowns, oftentimes driven by backwards politics.
