Joseph Crowley is a former Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives, representing New York's 14th congressional district from 2013 until 2019. Prior to that, he served New York's 7th congressional district from 1999 to 2013. Crowley was known for his work on issues such as healthcare, education, and economic development. He held various leadership positions within the Democratic Party, including serving as the chair of the Democratic Caucus in the House.
