Joe Michael Lombardo is the Governor of Nevada, having taken office on January 1, 2023. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as the Sheriff of Clark County from January 2015 until January 2023. During his tenure as sheriff, Lombardo focused on public safety and law enforcement issues in one of the largest counties in the United States. His experience in law enforcement has shaped his approach to governance, emphasizing crime reduction and community engagement.
