This is exactly the kind of bold action Nevada needs to increase our housing supply and make housing more attainable for hardworking Nevada families.

We’ve already shown that we’re willing to do our part, but the Colorado River is a shared resource, so the solution needs to involve everybody.

I commend Mike Dreitzer and the GCB for their diligent work to uphold Nevada’s longstanding regulatory standards, safeguard the integrity of our gaming industry, and ensure the public can continue to have confidence in its oversight.

Today, we’re opening three new state buildings here at the Desert Regional Center, but more importantly, we’re opening the door to better care for Nevadans who depend on these services.
