As Nevada's representative on this Committee, I believe it is also my role and responsibility to get answers for Nevada's veterans about the problems they are facing with VA care and benefits.

Do you believe that you are ultimately responsible for all this?

What has come to light about VA in recent months has proven to Congress, to veterans, and to the American people that there is a real problem with accountability at all levels within the Veterans Administration.

I believe it is long overdue for this Committee to exert its oversight and hold leadership within VA accountable.

Will you support our endeavors as a delegation from Nevada to congressionally designate I-11 into northern Nevada?

Infrastructure for the country, for the state of Nevada, it's critically important.

It is always timely to talk about jobs.

So you are saying, in this particular case, that you couldn't tell me how many additional incidents or reports would be necessary in order for NHTSA to take further action?

One of the biggest complaints I get when I go home, talking to businesses and companies, is government interference.

It looks like GM was not forthcoming with the American people who bailed them out.

When were those conclusions made?

I think that is important for us to know.

At some point in the last decade, GM knew that there was a problem with a faulty ignition switch, which led to the death of 13 people.

Our goal, as part of that relationship, is to ensure that we are catching any defects involved.

I want to make sure we have a complete understanding, because only with a complete understanding can we make all the changes we need to make from both a people and a process perspective.

Last week, the Fed Chair came out and said that one of the reasons that the economy is struggling to recover is because many households have limited access to credit.

In Nevada, and I always hate to say this, we have the highest unemployment, highest in foreclosure, highest in bankruptcy.

Until the economy improves, Nevada will remain at a disadvantage when preparing for retirement.

It is to make sure that they receive all the funds that they have actually put into it.

I think, is a mistake.

Every day American families wonder if they will have enough savings to enjoy a comfortable and stable retirement in the future.

I believe Richard Boulware will make an excellent district court judge for the State of Nevada.
