OK. And then the gaming industry and others have recommended--and I heard it at our last hearing--raising the currency transaction and suspicious activity reporting thresholds.

You are willing to address it--listen to them and address some of the concerns, too?

A very important discussion we are having.

I agree, the technology gives us the ability now to be targeted to also focus on the risk-based, and we do need law enforcement at the table when we are having this conversation.

And so can you address your targeted monitoring? How do you--is that the same thing or is it something different?

I absolutely 100 percent support that. I think it is incredibly important, actually, in order to actually address the problem.

I think there has to be some balance absolutely on this.

My understanding and concern is that this particular administration has not engaged in proper vetting of some of these nominees.

My understanding--and this may be wrong, but President Trump has been historically slow in submitting nominations to the Senate; 250 out of 624 positions requiring Senate confirmation are still without a nominee.

Senator Lankford's proposal is an opportunity to demonstrate that United States Senators can remember that the institution is more important than our own opinions.

Workforce development has been a focus of mine since I've entered the Senate, and so has innovation.

Obviously, we are standing at the edge of a technological revolution that we must ensure will, and there has been discussion, take our labor force with it.

Do you need additional tools? Should we be giving you additional tools to address the concerns that we are hearing today?

My thought is that you are there to address the issues that we have heard today. Nothing else needs to be done other than to let your agency do its job and coordinate amongst the federal agencies.

The concern is this. That is a pristine area that has for decades been utilized by people in Nevada who support continuing the protection and do not support opening it up to oil and gas leasing.
