I have no more speakers, and I continue to reserve the balance of my time.

It is about human beings. Their humanity is being assaulted and they are being put in harm's way by virtue of how they look.

I think that it is incumbent on the Government to take responsibility and to act through the proper procedures and the proper channels when these kind of incidents take place.

The political reality is we would have done it in the House. There was no way to get a bill through the filibuster in the Senate that is fully paid for.
