I regret that, because I was taking my children to their first day of school, I missed one vote on September 7, 2006. Had I been present I would have voted ``yes'' on H. Res. 981 (Providing for the consideration of the bill H.R. 503 to amend the Horse Protection Act to prohibit the shipping, transporting, moving, delivering, receiving, possessing, purchasing, selling, or donation of horses and other equines to be slaughtered for human consumption.). ____________________
