My friend reflected on some criticism of the Senate, which I would generally agree with. I would say this, though: the Senate did something we've not done. They put a Republican plan on the Senate floor to end the sequester and save those 750,000 jobs and a Democratic plan on the floor to save those 750,000 jobs. I think we owe it to our constituents, to our country to do the same thing. This is the opportunity to do that.

the best scenario of the four is the status quo, which is grim. The other three compete in terms of their grimness.
