Under the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008, you have a statutory responsibility to, quote, 'implement a plan that seeks to maximize assistance for homeowners'--maximize assistance for homeowners--'and use its authority to encourage the servicers of the underlying mortgages in considering net present values to the taxpayer to take advantage of available programs to minimize foreclosures.' Is that not an equal responsibility that you have?
