I join my colleague from Minnesota in advocating that all Members of the Senate support the amendment. The Senate overwhelmingly voted to do the same as it related to this institution, this body, in terms of not taking travel from lobbyists. The CPSC should have no less a standard. Consumers should feel safe that, ultimately, those products are going on the market not because of the influence of some trips a Commissioner took.
