I wanted to thank Senators Harkin and Specter for their leadership on the bill and their strong support of this amendment, which is to put $8 million in the Patient Navigator and Chronic Disease Prevention Act. It is strongly supported by a letter that was issued by the American Cancer Society, the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, the National Association of Community Health Centers, the National Medical Association, the National Patient Advocate Foundation, and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation. What they say in their letter sums it up in its totality.
