Phil Murphy: “Stay inside and exercise caution.”

I have been briefed on a lightning strike tonight at an outdoor archery range in Jackson. At this time, we have at least one fatality and multiple injuries.

Gov. Phil Murphy had declared a state of emergency due to the flash flooding and heavy rainfall as he advised people to stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel.

All injured have been transported by first responders. Please pray for everyone involved in this tragic incident.

The Trump Administration’s decision to suspend SNAP funding as the government shutdown drags on is both unethical and illegal.
