We are talking about a report that helps us understand the problem and helps us to take steps as a country to ameliorate the problem.
One out of every 3 children is affected by obesity, and over the last 3 decades rates have skyrocketed.
I fully expect that the IWG is going to take these comments into account when finalizing their guidelines.
As a result of this epidemic, health problems that were rarely seen in children 30 years ago are now quite common.
According to data from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, rates of obesity have doubled in children and tripled in teens.
