From the start of the Trump administration, there has been a bipartisan call to modernize America's infrastructure, including expanding broadband to communities that need it.

I fully expect that my colleagues will bring different views and ideas forward in examining these bills to strengthen the 340B Program.

I do not support legislation that would curtail or restrict the program.

I want to commend Rep. Matsui for her leadership on H.R. 6071, the SERV Communities Act.

These types of bills are not about improving or strengthening the 340B. They are about gutting the program.

This bill would require 340B DSH hospitals that have an emergency department to establish a plan for getting victims of sexual assault access to a Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner facility.

I fully expect my colleagues will bring different views and ideas forward in examining these bills to improve the 340B program.

The Republicans delivered a one-two punch when they rolled back consumer broadband privacy rules and then repealed the net neutrality safeguards.

Privacy is a deeply held American value.

It's no wonder that states like California are stepping in to fill the void left by the repeal of these privacy rules.

I think we all need to remember that we have an agency with less than 10 people on staff dedicated to managing 340B.

What I do not support is the process for this hearing. It is not thoughtful, it is not bipartisan, and it is not productive.
