We have given out over $1.7 billion in funding already of the ultimately $3 billion that will be disbursed to those Tribal communities.

So I think that's a big gap in our understanding of how--you know, where shortages come from.
I especially want to thank Professor Muzzio from Rutgers University in my congressional district for being here today.
So giving FDA these tools will allow the agency to understand why these shortages occur so that we can take action to predict and address them.
Today we are examining the root causes of drug shortages, which negatively impact the health and well-being of so many Americans.
So I would like to do a mindset shift on drug shortages as a crisis, and that mindset shift is to change from a focus of mitigation to ending.
And that law empowers the FDA to partner with universities around the country to further develop continuous manufacturing technology.
They're worried--they want to clean up these sites. They don't want pollution.
I don't think taxpayers should have to foot the bill to clean up these toxic waste sites.
This is a budget request that will ensure EPA can fulfill its mission to protect human health and the environment.
