Republicans' opposition to EVs is an attack, in my opinion, on innovation, public health, and lower energy bills for American drivers.

Instead, they are deliberately misleading Americans about EVs and EPA proposals in order to do the bidding of Big Oil corporations.

Unfortunately, the bills before us today are a step in the wrong direction. And for that reason, I oppose.
