“I could not believe the enthusiasm that existed in that school. One of the things that they had, which I think is somewhat unique, is that all the kids were wearing school uniforms, which is something that I know that the President has proposed. But there was just a lot of excitement in that place. But one of the things I kept thinking about is we keep talking about innovation, and one can put school uniforms in schools and one can come up with other things, but one cannot function, one cannot be very innovative if the place is falling apart literally. I think it is incumbent upon us to provide the resources so that schools are modernized.”
