Frank Pallone: “I think we really need a partnership at the Federal level to have a helping hand out there”

The reports coming from Keyport continue to be concerning enough for my constituents to repeatedly and urgently share their concerns with me.

With strong coastlines, our residents, businesses, and communities are better equipped to face extreme weather events.

I’m glad I was able to secure the federal funding necessary to support this project, which will make these Jersey Shore communities more resilient in the years to come.

If they cannot be operated in compliance with federal law and the Constitution, GEO Group, CoreCivic, and any other private contractors should not continue to profit from taxpayer dollars, and the detention centers must be closed.
