“I just wanted to thank the committee and the ranking member for including in this legislation the text of H.R. 3911, which establishes the Great Falls Historic District in Paterson, NJ. I had introduced this bill earlier this session at the request of Assemblyman Bill Pascrell who is also the mayor of Paterson, NJ. It was a major piece of legislation that former Congressman Herb Klein had tried to get through this House. It is very important for the people of New Jersey, Passaic County and particularly, of course, for the residents of Paterson, NJ.”
