I want to say, Mr. President, that we should never restrict free speech. But when we know that it is vicious, when we know that it is designed to separate, when we know that it is designed to punish a group or an individual, we ought to be prepared for that kind of vitriol and we ought to have someone standing right behind that person so that a rebuttal, if necessary, can be offered.
