In every poll, more than 80 percent of the American people support background checks at gun shows. In fact, two-thirds of the gun owners--66 percent--support background checks on all gun sales at gun shows. Some of the other loopholes in our gun laws are also shocking. There is no reason why we should allow large-capacity ammunition clips to be imported. We banned them from being manufactured in this country, but they can still be brought in, imported.”
