“I just want to say I thank my colleagues who worked so hard to get this legislation passed. But I want everybody to remember that this vote that was just taken said it is all right to do business with Iran. Look at the list of the dead and missing and see whether it is all right to vote for companies that sell to Iran. When we had a chance to close the loophole, the party lines were clear. No, stick with the companies. Forget about those who are serving in Iraq. Forget about those kids who want to come home in one piece. That is the kind of vote that just took place, and I hope the constituents back home will note it and remember it. I yield the floor.”
