Thank you for scheduling this hearing to consider the re-nomination of Dr. Allison Macfarlane to be Chairwoman of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).

We need to bolster TTB so it has the ability to investigate and stop the illicit tobacco trade and collect the revenue we need.

The IRS must be funded at a level that enables it to provide necessary taxpayer assistance and to enforce the laws.

Efforts to consolidate these grants could shift critical grant funds away from the areas most at-risk for a terror attack, like my State of New Jersey.
