I have a bill that would close the gun show loophole by requiring all sellers at gun shows to do background checks.

Unfortunately, our ability to prevent and respond to these threats is weakened by 'cut at any cost' colleagues in the Congress.

These cuts underscore the need to increase funds for grant programs this year to ensure that our families are kept safe.
