With my State's continued challenges and stubbornly high foreclosure rates, I call on the Treasury Department to redouble its efforts to ensure that New Jersey homeowners receive the help they need.

I believe it is time for this subcommittee and others to give serious thought to the way the IRS is funded.

We simply can't afford to ignore the lessons from past accidents and crashes.
