My colleague from New Mexico represents everything from Native American peoples to a very diverse State. I am wondering if he could talk for a moment about the urgency he sees of this problem for the more vulnerable populations who are becoming--the situation they are in right now is becoming much more dire and should call to the consciousness of our country and should challenge our morality as a people, should expand our moral imagination about what we can and should do and must do.
