Cory Booker actually said...

This two-pronged approach was adopted by Mayor Cory A. Booker of Newark, New Jersey.

I was happy that even disadvantaged people in my community could get involved and know that even their $5 donation was significant.

This gentleman, excuse me, this person should not have been on the streets, point plain. And mistakes, in my opinion, were made.

The incident itself will not define us, but how we respond to it -- respond to it will define us.
