Thank you for convening today's hearing on port cybersecurity and for allowing me to waive on.

Airlines and labor unions continually raise the issue of an aviation maintenance technician, or AMT, shortage.

I want to make sure that we are preparing for that information sharing to go both ways so that our ports have access to timely, actionable intelligence about cyber threats.

I thank the FAA for their participation in this workshop. I look forward to continuing to work with you on putting an end to this problem.
