Today the Venezuelan people are suffering under a humanitarian crisis caused by authoritarian leader Nicolas Maduro.

What we should be advocating for is for the legitimate elections, not just putting someone in.

Since Maduro came to power in 2013, he has consistently repressed human rights.

My concern, though, is with the United States being in front of everything, as opposed to Lima Group and other allies.
