In States like mine, we have been highly successful in getting absentee ballots in on time because Postal Service employees on the ground, citizens of New Hampshire, know what's at stake and they get their job done.

They need to be talking to employees. They need to know how long it takes to drive from Manchester, New Hampshire down to Boston at the height of rush hour.

What the Postal Service is telling them to do is just get the truck out no matter what they know is coming.

This is drilling down on the details that matter. Again, I am a member from another rural State, too. This is critical.

There has been nothing convincing in their responses to us that they really have done the kind of due diligence they should do before this decision.

While their research has the potential to cure diseases and boost our economy, unless they accept Federal funding, there is very little Federal oversight to ensure that private labs are engaged in safe and ethical research.

I think it's really important that we use those metrics that look at earnings and employment.

I've heard from some stakeholders who say WIOA reporting requirements are overly burdensome.

I would encourage you to think about workforce Pell as not only being just for adults without an education, but imagine the person with a baccalaureate degree who was displaced as a result of AI.

Investing in workers' skills and training is an investment in our Country's economy and our global competitiveness.
